Photocopies and microfilm of records from the Public Record Office of Great Britain. Photocopies are of John Meares's report to the Board of Trade on the possibilities of fur trade on the northwest coast of North America, May 27, 1790. Microfilm contains: report on American impost and tonnage acts, importations from the U.S. into Newfoundland, proposals on trade to the U.S., documents from consuls Bond and Miller on U.S. trade, cargo from America, inquiry upon price of corn at Philadelphia, emigrants from Ireland to U.S., importation of food from the U.S. into Newfoundland and New Brunswick, and document on manufactures in the U.S., January 1791-March 1792.
